Back

Sorry for the long hiatus…

I have been very busy lately with some exciting new projects and to be honest I was a little burnt out from blogging and needed a break… but I’m back and I will be updating more regularly and also share some of my recent work.

Mesmerizing

I’m fascinated by this project recently done by the talented Ross Ching. You can read all about it on his blog.

Wow

I love this timelapse from Sean Stiegemeier of the volcano in Eyjafjallajökull, Iceland. Good stuff!

I’ll Miss You Grandpa

My grandpa, Ernie Harwell went to be with the Lord this evening. It’s a sad moment, but I’m comforted by the fact that he is with his savior and out of his pain. There were so many things about him that were inspiring to me and he will greatly missed, but I know he is rejoicing in heaven tonight.

Beetle’s Eye View

Great project from the Burrard-Lucas brothers from the UK. They managed to create a remote control vehicle with a Canon EOS 1D MK III attached. They got some really great shots in the process and I can’t wait to see what else this creative pair will come up with.

The Artful Mural

Very interesting and well done documentary on hand painted murals. (via swissmiss) Is it weird I find this fascinating?

Photo of The Week

I love this shot from Matt Brandon. He’s a very talented photographer who specializes in the unknown, forgotten and homeless. You can check out more of his work on his blog.

Don’t Downplay This

I stumbled across this site last week and so far I’m impressed. They offer 8 new music downloads per weekday. It’s not bad music either… most of it is actually enjoyable to listen to. You can also follow them on Twitter.

Photo of The Week

Each week I’ll be featuring a photo that inspired, motivated, moved me or just caught my attention. In my weekly surfing of photo blogs and the internet I stumble across a lot of great pictures and I wanted to share my favorites with you. This shot is from (Lucas Jackson | Reuters) and is of the volcano in Eyjafjallajokul, Iceland.

How Did They Do That?

This is a fascinating video on how the BBC shot a segment for the television series called Life. It’s amazing the amount of work and attention to detail that went it to making this shot possible. I’m inspired!
