Going Back To The Start
Creative stop-motion piece from Johnny Kelly for Chipolte. I love the creativity of this, but I think I love Willie Nelson’s cover of “The Scientist” even more… You can get it on iTunes.

I’m loving this mashup of Chasing Cars & Every Breath You Take from Party Ben. You can download this mix and quite a few others on his site.

I stumbled across this site last week and so far I’m impressed. They offer 8 new music downloads per weekday. It’s not bad music either… most of it is actually enjoyable to listen to. You can also follow them on Twitter.

[Day 316 - At His Best]
My thoughtful wife’s Christmas present to me was tickets to see John Mayer in Birmingham, AL. Last night was the concert, and he sounds just as good in person as he does on his CD’s. Nowadays that isn’t that common of an occurrence. It’s always inspiring for me to see someone who is so talented and has become one of the best at their craft. I snapped this shot from iPhone last night, and I’m continually impressed with it’s camera.

My grandpa has written articles for the Detroit Free Press for many years, but they have always been sports related. Recently he was given the opportunity to write about more than just baseball, and I loved his latest article. It’s about his time at Emory University and hustling Tommy Dorsey to visit his fraternity. This was the first time I had ever heard this story, and it has me anticipating what next week’s article will bring.
Amazon Music is giving away a free song every day till Christmas. They have been running a lot of great sales lately. For instance the new Switchfoot CD is only $5 today.
I’m not sure what it is about the new album cover of Switchfoot’s latest release, but I love it. Maybe it’s my love of the beach, fascination with birds or just the clean and simple design. The songs are as good as the cover art, but don’t just take my word for it, listen for yourself below.
