Bearing in mind all the traveling that took place over the Thanksgiving holiday, I wanted to share this ad campaign that Ogilvy & Mather designed for Malaysia Airlines.
Malaysia Airlines was trying to target the domestic market and change the perception that traveling with them is expensive. Stickers of various feet on exotic trips and locations were placed on the meal tray. A simple, yet genius design and a great way to capture travelers imagination while getting them thinking about their next trip. See more designs after the break.

HSBC was looking to raise awareness about global warming and turned to the Ogilvy & Mather Ad Agency to promote their cause. What they came up with was genius. They glued an arial view of a city to the base of a swimming pool. HSBC has received 300% more hits and increased registrations for their cause since deploying this ad. They also observed increased registrations pledging support for the cause.

What a great advertisement from Daehong Communications. It’s creative & clean and manages to get the point across with an elegant simplicity. I want my designs to reflect more of this school of thought and do away with useless clutter and superfluous text.

I love this marketing campaign from Leo Burnett, Frankfurt. To demonstrate the power of Tide, they created a series of posters along a heavily trafficked road. As the posters became more dirty of time the treated fabric stayed white, showing the power of Tide.

This is a great spoof on a problem we designers constantly face. Clients who don’t know good design, and like to fill up every inch of white space. I hope this makes you laugh as much it did me.
