If you are at all interested in digital film making, especially on DSLR’s, then you need to read Philip Blooms blog. He is one of the leaders in this emerging field. The video posted above is one that he shot at Skywalker Ranch to show George Lucas and his team the capabilities of the Canon 5D mkII & 7d. I wanted to share with you the video bumper I did for the No Perfect People Allowed series at Dogwood Church. I really enjoyed working on this one and the more I use After Effects the more I like it.
Beautifully Abstract
I find this video mesmerizing and inspiring… It makes me want to drop what I’m doing and play with Adobe After Effects all day.
Urban Abstract was created by Jopsu Ramu from Musuta Ltd, a art & design-studio based in Tokyo and Helsinki. It’s a journey across urban space in one, two and three dimensions and was created by mixing techniques such as vectors, hand drawn lines and painting.
Countdown To Christmas
I created this simple countdown video for New Hope Baptist Church. You can download it on Vimeo and use it at your church or anywhere else for that matter. As I spend more time with After Effects I will be offering more and more of these kind of resources. I will also be offering an HD version next week. Karaoke Never Looked So Good
Very impressed with this video from Scott Garner. He basically created a real-time karaoke type render with some amazing effects. You got to love his choice of song… Takes me back to when my wife and I first started dating.
