I’m not sure what it is about the new album cover of Switchfoot’s latest release, but I love it. Maybe it’s my love of the beach, fascination with birds or just the clean and simple design. The songs are as good as the cover art, but don’t just take my word for it, listen for yourself below.
I always enjoy seeing artists using everyday objects as their canvas, so I found this art from Boey particularly inspiring. He draws his masterpieces on Styrofoam cups. You can view and purchase more of his work here.
Genius photographer Chase Jarvis is taking at least one picture a day with his iPhone. This just proves my theory that a good photographer can take great pictures even with a camera phone. It’s not about the equipment, but the artists vision! You can follow his daily posts on twitter or see some of his best shots here.
I have always been fascinated with model trains since I was little. My dad loves model trains and I guess I inherited it from him. The video above is of Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany. It’s now on my list to visit!

Matthew Carden, an award winning food & lifestyle photographer from San Fransisco, is doing some amazing work with food and photography. His series “Small World” accomplishes what I think all good art should do. It challenges, inspires and causes you ask, “How can I be more creative and original?”

I’m in love with this picture from Amelia Lyon Photography. I stumbled across their blog today and was very impressed and inspired with their work. Is it just me or does it seem like their are so many talented photographers out there right now? What do you think?
