In honor of Veterans Day this week I wanted to share this video and the great story behind it. The story begins in Englewood, Colorado where Tony & Albert Fagler were going through their grandmothers belongings after her death in 2000. In the basement they found an old cardboard drum filled with pictures, junk and three 16mm rolls of film.
They brought the rolls to Channel 9 News to see if they could play it. Only after determining the film was too fragile to play and then sending it off to the Library of Congress, did they discover what a treasure they had truly found. Footage from their grandparents wedding, dogfights over Germany & France, American planes attacking German convoys and American soldiers advancing across France.
Thanks Tony & Albert for donating this film and thank you to all the brave men & women who have fought and continue to fight for our freedom!
I just recently returned from a Caribbean cruise and was continually amazed by the creativity of my God. From the amazing sky to the gorgeous waters and all the creatures in them, it blew me away as I once again realized I serve the most creative designer of all. You can see my pictures from the trip here.
“So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that scurries and swarms in the water, and every sort of bird—each producing offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good.”
Genesis 1:21
“He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever.”
Psalm 146:6
I love the design and colors of this triangular chair. The design company out of Italy also offers other pieces in the same line. You can see more here.

I love this short film from Treehouse Creative. What a great way to tell a story and create awareness to the growing problem of homelessness in our world. It won the ‘People’s Choice’ & ‘Best Film’ awards at the NY 2008 Tropfest and it was all shot on a cell phone. Amazing!
