I love this marketing campaign from Leo Burnett, Frankfurt. To demonstrate the power of Tide, they created a series of posters along a heavily trafficked road. As the posters became more dirty of time the treated fabric stayed white, showing the power of Tide.

They say the eyes are the window to the soul and if so these eyes are saying a lot. The picture above was taken by Esther Havens in the eastern province of Rwanda. I have been following Esther’s work for a few years now, and I’m constantly impressed with how she is able to capture the soul of her subjects and her heart for third world countries. Check out her site and order some of her work.

If you are like me and enjoy great photography then head over to The Big Picture. The picture above is from the post on The Sun and is just a small sample of the incredible visuals Alan Taylor has compiled for the Boston Globe from sources all over the world.

There is a great post by Barton Damer about the correct use of visuals in your worship services. I know being a designer myself, I become easily distracted if there is too much going on or bad visuals in a worship service. While you are there check out the other articles and artwork from this talented designer.

This past week I had the privilege of experiencing Kristian Stanfill and his band as they led in worship at Catalyst. My good friend Matt Melton has been in the band for awhile now, but this was my first opportunity to seem them play live. I was really impressed and moved by their worship. Make sure you listen to their new song “Wake Up” below and check out Kristian’s Blog.
I’m not normally the activist type, but after being made aware of the human slavery that is so rampant in our world today, I can’t keep quiet. Watch the video above and visit CALL + RESPONSE to find out how you can help!
I had the opportunity to attend the Catalyst Conference this past Thursday & Friday in Atlanta, GA. It was great to get away for a few days and experience some great teaching and worship. All the speakers were great, but I was moved by the teaching from Craig Goeschel and Matt Chandler. It was also great to see some old friends I haven’t seen in awhile.
