I love this artwork from Mark Langan. He takes corrugated cardboard and makes art from it. What a talent to take what is usually discarded and make something amazing. [Seen on Neatorama]
I just ran across this great post today about Church Logos on Stuff Christians Like. I love Jon’s sense of humor and his honest look at Christians and our quirks.
I know I have been on a 80’s kick in the last week, but this post is totally worth it. How can you not love this genius design from Ignacio Pilotto? In fact all of his design work is great, so go check out his blog.
The leading childhood killer in Africa is lack of sanitary drinking water. Every 3 seconds a child dies of malnutrition and starvation. 1 million children die of malaria each year. More than 300 million people in Africa do not have access to clean water.
My cousin Davis Harwell put together an album of music inspired by the country of Kenya and the people living there. What is great about this project is that 100% of the profit made from sales goes to LifeWater: International fund, and will provide freshwater wells in Kenya. So check out the links below and support this great project and also enjoy some great music.
This is an pretty amazing app for the iPhone and iPod by Brian Eno & Peter Chilvers. My only fear is I would never get any work done if it was on my phone, but then I would have to own an iPhone in the first place. I will gladly accept donations if you are feeling generous! If you are lucky enough to own the aforementioned phone, you can download the app here for only $4.

I absolutely love this quote from the late Paul Newman when asked why he stayed faithful to his wife. I think the same quote could apply to our relationship with God. Why would I stray to things that don’t fulfill me when I have the ultimate fulfillment in my relationship with Jesus?

Who didn’t love the 80’s? Smurfs were all the rage, Reagan was in office, the Cosby show was in primetime, and I ruled at Centipede. If you are like me and just little nostaglic about the decade, check out this amazing site with over 1,000 music videos and classic games from the 80’s. Good stuff.

This chair from Qayot has a remarkable resemblance to a certain 1980’s video game, don’t you think? I wonder how long these will be available before Namco is on their case.
